Dear (es) and adherents (es),
The A3C, which defends the interests of the co-owners, decided to consult its counsel, Me Frédéric Leclerc from the firm In'Nova in Perpignan, in order to put an order to ASLIC and its president to respond to requests repeatedly expressed and remained unanswered. It is time to put an end to certain actions and unbearable authoritarianism of the ASLIC and its president.
For several years, the management of ASLIC has been a source of discontent among co-owners, due to an unresponsive leadership and an organization that no longer meets our needs. The contributions we pay are not in line with the management of the Coudalère site, and the services provided (maintenance of common areas, pool, security, cleanliness, etc.) are far from satisfying the majority of co-owners.
Certain activities, such as the sale of goodies, the installation of pergolas, the nautical base project, the animations and the management of a smartphone application for these animations are sources of waste and distract ASLIC from its main missions.
In addition, the lack of transparency in governance and the authoritarian practices of the ASLIC president accentuate the dissatisfaction of landlords, as reflected by the A3C. It is unacceptable to continue paying ever increasing charges without being able to express an opinion on the use of these funds.
At the last general meeting on 18 June 2024, numerous accounting anomalies were noted, leading to the invalidation of the 2023 accounts. We have also seen questionable practices by the president of ASLIC, who makes provisions for his own personal interests without management control. These breaches of transparency allow management to make decisions without prior consultation with co-owners.
Faced with this persistent discontent, the ASLIC and its president remain silent and deaf to any call for improved governance. The 2023 accounts have not yet been cleared, and undue payments have not been repaid. At the meeting of the ASLIC Union on October 4, deviations from the statutory terms of representation allowed the adoption of rules that once again promote reimbursement of expenses to the president.
We will keep you informed of the follow-up to this initiative, hoping that it will help unblock a situation that has been going on for too long.
Yours kindly.
