This answer was posted on the site Propriétaires/Owners Cap Coudalère in response to an Aslic post about green spaces.
Recently questioned by an owner, about the maintenance of green spaces in the vicinity of the residences Martinique 2 and 3 (rue Haiti), a ASLIC official found nothing better than to invite this gentleman toeven the services of the commune of Barcarès or to contact our neighbourhood representative, Mrs BENTZ,.
Clearly, it was not in the mind of the ASLIC representative to provide a better response here to the need expressed by this owner and member of ASLIC.
There was no question that this person would assume full responsibility before communicating a wrong answer.
Because if the representative of ASLIC certainly took the trouble to look at the agreement established in June 2023 between ASLIC and the Barcarès City Hall, which provides for the distribution of maintenance of the site of Coudalère, he would have found that the said agreement was signed by the President of ASLIC and that it is therefore up to the latter to ensure compliance with its clauses and not an owner to take charge.
In the same register, this agreement includes by its article 3, a provision favourable to ASLIC through an annual compensation of 50,000 € T.T.C. in the form of investments for comfort and beautification of the district or external services (beach volleyball court, twenty ashtrays distributed in agreement with the Director of I'ASLIC and the size of some large trees). For almost 2 years, ASLIC has never benefited from these services. Is it also an owner to worry about today?
And as it was not enough to shirk his responsibilities towards an owner, the ASLIC official tried to clear the district delegate, la, designating as privileged interlocutor to take charge of the non-execution of the agreement signed with the commune...
Recall that our district delegate performs a volunteer mission of interface between the resident and the city. In no way may it interfere with a contract between the municipality and a private body such as ASLIC, signatory to a partnership agreement.
It might be time for ASLIC to assume its responsibilities and correct these types of problems that are not the owners' responsibility! ASLIC must respect its contractual commitments and those established for its benefit.
It would therefore be desirable for our site to finally benefit from the €50,000 in annual benefits promised by the City Council!
